Vollans Magic

Energetic, funny, and never shy to a stage, Michael took to performing magic very easily.  Bitten by the "magic bug" after seeing David Copperfield live at age 7, Michael has been a passionate performer for most of his life. 

 

Using a mix of sleight-of-hand, misdirection, illusion, and comedy, he has a very flexible performance style that can be suited to any crowd.  Great with adults and children alike, he has done numerous volunteer gigs, from public schools to nursing homes. 

 

Seeing magic as a shared experience, rather than a "trick", Michael draws in his audience to share in the astonishment.  An expert card magician, he also performs effects using borrowed objects and very simple props.  Magic tends to have a greater impact when it is personalized to the audience, and nothing acccomplishes this better than performing directly in front of the audience, not 100 feet away on a stage!
